Remote VOting Procedure
Due to some unforeseen issues we had to make changes to the voting process. There will not be an online form, but instead HG Bishop Mina and Hegumen Fr. Rewis request you use the following method for Remote voting.
Send an email to smspnomination@gmail.com between October 31st @ 11:30am and Monday November 2nd @ 12 pm with the following information:
- Full Name
- Phone number
- Vote - agree or disagree to the nomination.
- Comment - Please note that a reason must be given for any vote that disagrees.
Any email\votes received after 12pm on November 2nd will be voided.
St. George & St. Paul The Anchorite Monastery
Through the grace of God and the blessings of both the Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, H.H. Pope Tawadros II, and the Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver, and Western Canada, H.G. Bishop Mina, our blessed province of Alberta has been chosen as the location of the first Coptic Monastery in Western Canada.
The Monastery of St. George & St. Paul The Anchorite will bring the authentic monastic life that was established by St. Anthony The Great in Egypt (270 AD) to Western Canada. The monastery will provide a variety of spiritual and social services to the Coptic and Christian communities of Western Canada.
For Donations by checks, make sure to write "For St. George & St. Paul Monastery" as a note.
